Bee sting

Bienestich

The classic

The recipe

Bee sting is a delicious cake that is easy to store and always delicious. As a sweet in between or as a cake for coffee in the afternoon.

Thanks to the vanilla cream filling and the almonds you have a sweet and at the same time fresh taste.

One of my favorite cakes, the
preparation is medium difficulty.

The recipe

Dough:

500g plain flour

1Pkg. Dry yeast

50g sugar

1Pkg. Vanilla

1 egg

1/4l lukewarm milk

1/2 tsp salt

80g soft butter

Surface:

70g butter

75g sugar

1Pkg. Vanilla

100ml whipped cream

200g almond leaves

Filling:

2 Pkg. Vanilla Pudding

3/4l milk

75g sugar

80g butter

Teig-Bienenstich

Dough preparation:

Sift the flour into the mixing bowl and mix well with the yeast.

Gradually add the other ingredients for the dough and knead with the food processor or a hand blender to form a supple dough.

Leave the dough covered in a good place for 1h or longer until the volume has roughly doubled.

Preparation of the filling (while the dough rises):

Bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan.
Meanwhile, mix the pudding powder with sugar.

After boiling, stir the prepared pudding powder and sugar mixture under the milk and bring to the boil briefly.

Then stir the butter into the hot pudding and let it cool.

Stir the cream smoothly with a hand blender.

Preparation of the covering (while the dough rises)

Preheat the oven to 200°C above and below heat.

Bring the butter to the boil with sugar, vanilla sugar and cream, stirring constantly, and cook for about 1 min.

Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the almonds.

Allow the mixture to cool several times, stirring.

Below are some pictures attached for explanation.

Process dough further

When the dough has roughly doubled, place the dough on a lightly floured surface and press flat. Now beat from the sides to the middle and place on a greased baking sheet. Roll out to the edges.

Cut the dough with a fork on the entire surface.

Spread the lukewarm topping evenly on the dough and leave to walk for about 30 min.

Baking and filling

Place the tin in the middle rail of the preheated oven and bake for approx. 15-20 min.

Remove from the oven and leave to cool.

Quarter the cold cake and gently cut through each 1/4 with a long and sharp knife.

Place the bottoms back on the baking tray and divide the filling evenly on the bottoms.

Then smooth and put the tops back on and press lightly.

And done.
I wish you a good appetite and say goodbye to the next recipe.

Apfel Walnuss Kuchen

I had an appetite for apple pie and didn't want to bake one of the familiar recipes again. So I thought about something else. And that has become very tasty.

Try it right away.
